Professional experience
In my previous company, I was promoted from Accountant to Accounting Manager that oversee the entire Accounting Department with 7 licensed accountants under me. I preside meetings and make sure that tasks to be accomplished are met on a daily basis. I prepare different tax returns specifically for withholding tax, VAT, income taxes and alphalist. I am also knowledgeable in using eBIR forms which my former company uses. I am also aware about the Summary of List of Sales and Purchases program by the BIR. I also prepare bank reconciliation, cash flow reports, income statements, balance sheet, aging of receivables and other reportorial requirements needed by the President himself. I can communicate with other nationality as my bosses are not Filipino-born citizens. I also worked as an external auditor at Punongbayan and Araullo, a widely known auditing firm in the country. I audit financial statements of different clients from different industry like real state, manufacturing, pharmaceutical, logistics, BPOs, etc. I conduct inventory counts, cash counts and walkthroughs on the internal control of the client as part of auditing procedures. I am also updated with the Philippine Accounting Standards and Philippine Financial Reporting Standards since I am an active officer of the Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants. I well aware of the SEC regulations, BIR memorandums, COA updates and CDA rulings as well as for different regulatory agencies. I have also background on law since I teach law subjects for accounting subjects specifically for sales, agency, pledge, mortgage, negotiable instruments, obligations, contracts, partnerships and corporation. I am also knowledge on different management advisory services like capital budgeting, quantitative techniques for business, feasibility studies, economics, financial management, stock trading, investment, activity based costing. Kaizen, TQM, and other services. I am a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Accountancy, a graduate of Master in Business Administration and currently finishing my Doctor in Business Administration. I am a CPA, Certified Bookkeeper and has national certification for bookkeeping. I was a scholar of Quezonian Northern Californian Institute during my college days. I can help be of great service in your company since I am dedicated to my profession and I am very passionate in what I am doing.
