COMMERCIAL: Many swimming pool companies, (in unregulated markets like the Philippines) claim to be "commercial pool contractors" for the purpose of being "perceived" as a "seasoned" pool contractor with a greater then average knowledge base. When giving a sales presentation, they can use this marketing ploy along with many others to "close" a deal. And there are others who will build small "skimmer equipped" pools for motels, apartments, etc. which are nothing more then a residential swimming pool. Our definition of a true commercial pool is a gravity feed, energy efficient pool installation ranging from 50,000 to over 1,000,000 gallons. The vast majority of pool builders have no "in house" experience to design, engineer or construct such a commercial pool.
