Home Service ﹠ Online Violin, Piano ﹠ Viola Lessons

Normally my rate for Home Service depends on the age,level (beginner, intermediate, advanced), and location (with a famous landmark near the students' place). Online lessons however has a fixed rate.

If the student has zero knowledge in Music then I will teach fundamentally and focus on techniques and basic Music Theory which includes Note reading and other important symbols and Musical terms rather than focusing on pieces first. For transferee students with a musical background, an assessment will be conducted and I'll decide afterwards what needs to be fixed and improved then will go on from there.

I have a Bachelors degree in Music Education focusing on the Violin, Piano and Viola

I have been teaching part time ever since I was still in my conservatory days then made teaching full time after i graduated.

I have worked with Children (5yrs old youngest) to adults (55yrs old being the oldest). I have also worked with students who are planning to take Music Seriously by helping them prepare for Music Conservatory life in college.

I've been focused in teaching only ever since and doing gigs on the side sometimes with my quartet group for various events such as weddings, birthdays, corporate events etc.

My advise is to hire a really good teacher that will help nurture the students' talent and potential. One with strong attention to detail in particular.

Regarding questions the most important one is asking oneself if he/she is ready to invest time, money and effort in learning the craft for the long term before hiring a professional teacher. Another good question is "What is my goal as a student who wants to learn the craft?". Having a goal gives consistent motivation for the student to improve for the long term.
